Interview with Dr. David Cohen, Associate Professor of Political Science and Fellow of Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at the University of Akron. Dr. Cohen discussed the importance of presidential candidates choosing their running mates and the potential benefits and consequences of their decision. Dr. Cohen argued that a vice presidential candidate is chosen strategically based on certain criteria and that it is one of the most important decisions a presidential candidate will make.
